Brunei PC retailer Concepts was recently awarded Epson’s High Achiever Award for the tenth year in a row.
Concepts is the sole distributor for Epson printers in Brunei, and has been honoured for its continous support in developing Epson as a strong brand in the sultanate.
The company took home the award last Friday in a ceremony held at Malaysia’s Petaling Jaya.
“This achievement is a testament to the great support that Concepts Computer have received from our business partners and from Epson themselves; and also from Concepts’ own sales and technical support teams which are crewed and staffed by local Bruneians,” said Vincent Pao, general manager of Concepts.
“This shows that with the right foundation, Brunei can achieve great things,” he added.
The award was presented to Pao by Epson Malaysia’s managing director Daisuke Hori, general manager Danny Lee and senior manager for sales Gary Ng.
“We are optimistic on the economic growth that can be achieved in Brunei,” Eric Tang, Retail – Sales Manager for Epson Malaysia, told the media during the award ceremony.
“And together, Concepts and Epson, can achieve more and grow to greater heights in 2019,” added Tang.
Last year, Concepts brought in a new range of eco-friendly Epson refillable all-in-one inkjet printers, the EcoTank series, to the Brunei market.
With its high-capacity refillable ink tanks that can print up to 14,000 pages (black and white), the cartridge-free printers are marketed as an ultra-low cost solution for students, home offices and small businesses.
Zul Abdul Rahman, the marketing executive at Concepts Computer, said that Epson has become a household name in Brunei thanks to the store’s on-going promotions over the last 10 years.
The retailer also offers servicing for Epson printers in the country.
