DST broke sales record at the recent Consumer Fair after having sold its entire stock of mobile phones under its Prima phone plan packages.
The telco in a statement yesterday said that its Prima phone plan packages, which include new iPhones, Samsung and Vivo phones, have sold out everyday since day one of the five-day trade fair, pushing the firm to restock throughout the week.
DST was offering customers a range of phone models with an affordable upfront payment bundled with DST’s 4G Prima Plans. Among the best deals include a Samsung J4+ 32GB at B$0 upfront and a Vivo V11i 64GB at B$142 with a B$35 monthly plan.
The promotion attracted thousands to line up at DST’s booth for five consecutive days for its postpaid package plan sign-ups.
DST said the strong sales signified a great start for the telco in 2019. The company did not disclose sales figures.
The telco’s GO!broadband device bundles were also a hit among its customers.The postpaid plan offers unlimited 4G data bundled with a free mobile router for as low as B$68 per month.
DST also gave away 300 free Easi 4G prepaid simcards, as well as free one-month subscription rebate for select phone and GO!broadband plan sign ups.
Visitors were also drawn to DST’s booth to take part in various activities such as lucky dips for billpayers, with prizes ranging from mobile phones to Easi recharge cards to exclusive merchandise.
The 22nd Consumer Fair at the International Convention Centre in Berakas concluded yesterday.
