Even in 2019, your PC is still vulnerable to various threats like email phishing and ransomware, and that is why Concepts Computer is working together with Avast to bring affordable and up-to-date antivirus protection for PC users in Brunei.

APAC Venture, the distributor of Avast in the region, is partnering with the local PC retailer to cater its robust antivirus solutions to the Bruneians.

Jacqueline Yang, channel account manager at APAC Venture, said the strong interest from Bruneians on Avast led to them making a presence in the sultanate through Concepts Computer.

Based in Czech Republic, Avast is one of the largest security companies in the world that uses next generation technologies to combat cyberattacks in real time. The software has over 435 million users worldwide and its security features prevent 2 billion attacks every month.

What makes Avast Antivirus so unique is that it uses smart analytics to stop threats such as viruses, malware, spyware, ransomware and phishing before they affect users. It also detects and analyses suspicious files – if you attempt to run such a file, Avast locks it from your PC and sends it to the Avast Threat Labs for analysis.

Apart from its free antivirus protection, Avast offers services such as Avast Pro Antivirus (B$18) and Avast Premier (B$48 for 1 user, B$68 for 3 users). Avast also offers Internet Security for B$38 (1 user), B$58 (3 users) and B$78 (5 users).

At the Consumer Fair, Concepts is offering a ‘Buy 1 Free 1’ promotion for its Avast Internet Security and Premier to mark its partnership with APAC Venture.
