Bruneian IT company Concepts Technologies was recently honoured by Microsoft for actively promoting the tech giant’s cloud-based solutions in Southeast Asia.
The subsidiary of Concepts Group of Companies has been working hand-in-hand with Microsoft for the past year to promote its cloud-based solutions including products like Office 365 and Azure.
The firm received Microsoft’s Top Cloud Mix for Southeast Asia New Markets for the Fiscal Year 2018 award during the Microsoft Southeast Asia New Markets 2018 Partner Summit in Bangkok.
“Concepts are beyond honoured to be recognised for our contribution in this Microsoft journey on Digital Transformation, not just locally in Brunei in the South East Asia region,” said the Group’s General Manager, Vincent Pao.
“This award is unexpected but is recognised as the result of the effort put out by the team behind Concepts Technologies, with the support of Microsoft Brunei, and the team’s unwavering focus into making Microsoft cloud technology a priority in our initiatives for the Small-Medium Enterprise market in Brunei,” he added.
The annual summit features representative companies from nine countries that are regarded as new markets; Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
The event is held in varying locations in Southeast Asia.
“It’s been a great partnership between us at Microsoft Brunei and Concepts Technologies,” said Afif Mohamed Ali, Country Manager for Microsoft Brunei.
“Since Microsoft is a partner-led company, we are delighted to see our Brunei distributor championing this course and getting recognised for it. We hope this partnership can grow better together,” he added.
