Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) has launched a mobile application designed to help businesses in Brunei easily manage their accounts on their smartphones.
BizNet, which is an upgrade to BIBD’s digital Corporate Internet Banking platform, provides day-to-day accounts and payment operations support with real-time account access.
The new app also features single security token access for Parent and Subsidiary accounts, payment approval, fund transfers, bill payments, foreign currency rates and Branch/ATM locator.
BizNet was launched at the TechXpo 2018 alongside QuickPay, BIBD’s peer-to-peer cashless mobile payment app, as part of the bank’s new suite of applications under its new digital banking initiative NEXGEN.
BIBD said these new services are catered towards mobility and convenience, aimed at bridging the digital gap between customers and business owners, particularly budding entrepreneurs.
“This creates a more tech-savvy and cost-friendly business environment, further promoting ease of doing business while creating a more progressive and pro-business economy,” the bank added.
