DST has revised its 4G Prima postpaid mobile plans with more data bundle options at affordable rates that should please its data-hungry subscribers.

The telco’s new 4G postpaid plan now starts from as low as $20 per month inclusive of SMS, voice and data bundles, and now there’s even two unlimited plans in $85 and $105 monthly packages.

DST also introduced a new $25 Prima Student Plan for students in higher learning institutions in Brunei.

Customers also have the option to double their data by opting to DST’s 12-month contract plans. The $55 plan, for instance, can be doubled from 7.5GB to 15GB, while the $85 unlimited plan can be doubled from 20GB to 40GB and from 50GB to 100GB for the $105 unlimited plan, during the contract period.

The telco has also revised the 4G Prima postpaid plan bundles for its iPhone and Samsung contract plans, with the $35 plan data bundles upgraded to 6GB, $55 plan data bundles upgraded to 15GB and $85 plan data bundle upgraded to 40GB monthly.

DST’s Senior Manager of Group Marketing Dona Johan said this revision was in response to consumer demand in data consumption.

“The implementation of new technologies came with the ever-changing patterns of consumption of our customers who are much more information-driven and tech savvy,” said Dona during the launch of the new 4G Prima plan in Kiarong last night.

DST’s Senior Manager of Group Marketing Dona Johan delivering her welcoming remarks during the launch of DST’s revised 4G Prima mobile plan in Kiarong last night.

“With the exposure of information and availability of mobile and multimedia technologies, Bruneians are more aware and demanding about the types of communications they want and need to suit their lifestyles,” she added.

Prior to this, DST Prima subscribers who have used up their free data had to top-up additional data via the company’s DSTMBB service to avoid facing bill shock.

DST said it has been upgrading its existing Prima postpaid customers to the upgraded bundles since May 1 in phases.¬†Existing Prima postpaid customers can still voluntary opt to upgrade their plans to a higher rental or commit to DST’s 12-month contracts by visiting a DST counter.

DST is also throwing a lucky draw for its new and existing Prima customers, with a $5,000 grand prize up for grabs for those who register, upgrade their plans or commit to a contract plan. The draw will end on July 13.
