Sribuza, an online marketplace for freelancers, has teamed up with design company MixMediaWorx to give Brunei startups a marketing boost.
Through the collaboration, MixMediaWorx will be offering marketing solutions which include 30-second slots on its Mixels ($1,000/month) and advertising space on BHC Magazine ($1,800/month) to local firms through sribuza.com.
Sribuza co-founder Ak Akmal Fakhri Pg Hj Kamaludin said that the partnership with MixMediaWorx is a milestone for the website since its inception in 2016.
“MixMediaWorx saw our potential in helping startups in Brunei grow. We hope that by adding this new services from a big company like MixMediaWorx, the public can visit our website if they want to find out how to grow their businesses,” said Akmal.
MixMediaWorx CEO Azlan Ahmad said that the collaboration with Sribuza is aimed at supporting the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Brunei.
“As a service provider in creative advertising and marketing consulting, we are always on the look out for strategic platforms to reach out to potential clients both locally and internationally. Tapping onto Sribuza is one of the smart moves to achieve this,” said Azlan.
“We hope with this involvement, we can at the same time support the MSMEs and startups providing proper business exercise within our capabilties and expertise,” he added.
The design firm said it will add more services to the website in the near future.
Sribuza is an online marketplace where Bruneians can buy or sell services. It was developed by Ak Akmal and his two younger brothers to help freelancers in Brunei thrive.
Freelancers can post their skills and their rates and Sribuza connects them with companies or individuals in need of those services. The site offers gigs ranging from commercial photography to copywriting services to website development.
