Cosmopolitan students graduate

Close to 400 graduates received their diplomas in various disciplines, including Diploma in IT and Business Management, at the Cosmopolitan College Of Commerce and Technology (CCCT) Convocation Ceremony this year.

Presenting the diplomas to the 376 graduates last Saturday was the Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi Haji Osman.

The theme for the college’s convocation this year was “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow”, which emphasises on the youth of today shaping to be the leader in the future. CCCT said it has worked in the direction to nurture the students to be skillful, practical and innovative.

The private institution revealed that its students’ success rate in furthering studies or securing jobs is currently at 86 per cent. The college has produced more than 2,170 graduates since its establishment in 2004.

During the convocation, CCCT also showcased several exhibitions to guests, including a Work Study Programme booth which displays testimonials from companies that its students have been attached with, and a new internship programme fro BTEC Pearson courses.

Another booth showcased the college’s Drones Pilot Programme. which it hopes would benefit industries such as oil and gas, agriculture and telecommunications.
