Progresif Cellular will soon have its own mobile radio station, the first to be set up in Brunei.

The telco has invested in building broadcast and recording studios and have already gathered some of the nation’s top talents to run Progresif Radio.

Currently, the Progresif Radio app is undergoing beta testing. The service is expected to launch in the coming weeks with fresh online content.

Progresif held its first open auditons for radio DJs on Sunday at its headquarters in Gadong. The auditions were streamed live to an audience via the Progresif Radio app.

The auditions received a huge turnout of over 100 applicants.

“The response was incredible. We’re pleased to have so many talented people who are interested in becoming a DJ and helping shape the programming and personality of Progresif Radio,” said Devin Edwards, Progresif’s Chief Marketing Officer.
