BAG Networks and several Russian tech companies are currently exploring ways to develop Brunei into a high tech nation.
The local firm recently signed a Letter of Intent with Russia’s Smart City Global Innovations Pte Ltd, Getmobit LLC and Intelligent Security Systems (ISS) in a meeting following a Forum on Advanced IT & Cyber Technologies from Russia.
Getmobit LLC is involved in development of innovative products and technology solutions for organisation and management of secure workspaces, while Smart City Global Innovations Pte Ltd is a multi-disciplinary organisation focusing on smart city integration and digital infrastructure technology.
Meanwhile, ISS focuses on development of complex solutions for its comprehensive line of digital security and surveillance video solutions.
BAG Networks said these Letters of Intent signified the beginning of joint cooperation between the signatories in exploring and building collaborations with the aim to transform Brunei into a digital nation.
“This meeting and signing ceremony are part of our efforts to develop international collaborations so we can learn and build a secured technology-enabled community here in Brunei,” said BAG Network’s CEO Haslina Hj Md Taib.
“We are honoured and keen to explore this opportunity to grow a better relationship with Russian expertise in ICT, beginning with the companies represented by the delegates visiting us here today,” she added.
The meeting took place at the Design & Technology Building, Anggerek Desa Tech Park.
