Attention audiophiles in Belait district. For a limited time only, Bang & Olufsen Brunei is inviting you to feast your ears on their premium home theatre system at Pusat Insani, Seria.
The three-day showcase is part of the Flexible Living roadshow organised by Sejalin, the parent company of Bang & Olufsen Brunei, and is aimed to give Bruneians the opportunity to experience the true Bang & Olufsen sound and marvel at the Danish audio brand’s technical excellence.
The highlight of the exhibit is the 5.5 metre wide Beocube located at the centre of Pusat Insani’s main hall, where the company’s ultra high end floor loudspeakers are showcased.
The Beocube itself is custom-built by the Sejalin team using the company’s aluminum composite panels. As the lights are dimmed inside the hall, two spotlights shine towards the front of the structure, leading visitors to the Beocube’s main doors.
It’s essentially the centrepiece of the Bang & Olufsen showcase at Pusat Insani, said Howard Leong of B&O Brunei yesterday.
According to Leong, the Beocube is unlike anything that’s ever been done by Bang & Olufsen anywhere before. “This is only done here in Brunei,” he said, crediting the Sejalin crew for making it all possible.
Inside the Beocube is where the magic really happens. Visitors are treated to listen to B&O’s highly advanced floor loudspeakers, the Beolab 90.
The Beocube’s interior is built to replicate a home theatre living room with a a 7.1 speaker setup. The room features B&O’s Beovision Avant 75 ultra-high definition TV paired with the Beolab 90, the Beolab 5 and Beolab 20 floor loudspeakers.
But it’s the powerful 18-driver Beolab 90 speaker system that is going to get your hair raising. If you’ve always wanted to experience professional sound system euphoria, the Beocube is exactly where you should be right now.
Visitors can also tour other rooms in Pusat Insani where the Bang & Olufsen Brunei team have set up demo units of B&O’s other range of home theatre system products.
One particular room showcases Bang & Olufsen’s ‘entry-level’ home theatre setup, featuring the 48-inch Beovision Horizon TV and the Beolab 14 4.1 package. Visitors can relax on the couch and watch movies or play videogames in this room.
Also on display are a range of Beoplay bluetooth speakers and headphones, which visitors can try out or even purchase during the three-day roadshow.
The B&O Beoplay A1 bluetooth speaker also makes an appearance, so if you’re one of the many participants (residents in Belait) for our Beoplay A1 giveaway this month, you can check out the actual bluetooth speaker on display at the showcase in Seria.
The event is ongoing today starting at 12pm until 9pm, and will conclude tomorrow. Admission is free.
